Doing a word comparison from a word list file in Python

Friends I am new to Python. Given a word, I need to print an array of similar words from a word list. The word list is compiled in a text file (like one word in a line). Also, the matching percentage shall be in a range of 75% to 90%. I have Python 34 on my Windows 8.1.

How do I do it? Any suggestions... Thank You...
