Text fields on a java panel is not fitting the size on Solaris11 machine

I have a java program that uses the java swing panel to show the text fields for input from user. The size that was provided in the program was working on solaris 10. But when it is run on solaris11 machine, the text fields are not showing and the window needs to be streched to show the Text Fields. I am using jre1.7_u60 in both the cases.

Is there some workaround to make the look of the text fields consistent on both the Sol10 and Sol11 machines.
