GPL library in iOS app without open-sourcing?

I'm going to use GPL v2 library (executable to be more detailed but i'm going to convert it to shared library) without modifications. Do i have to choose GPL license for the whole app? Do i have to publish the sources of the app? Can i use it somehow without open-sourcing of the whole app?
