Join multicast group with credentials

Following this tutorial I created a simple configuration - single server spams several client, all joined in a multicast group. What I need is to provide some authorization when client tries to join.

E.g. is it possible clients to provide "usr/pass" when trying to join multicast group?

If it is not, please suggest something :). I have some crazy idea: Prior to joint the group, clients will have to connect directly to the server and to provide some credentials. If everything is OK, clients will receive from the server some info like - group IP:Port and "encryption key". All communications within the group will be encrypted.
