Add onkeypress attribute to jquery plugin

I am using a jquery plugin, there in input field i want to set onkeypress attribute that will call a javascript function. attr({ type: 'text', placeholder: options.placeholder, keypress:'AutoSuggest();'}).

AutoSuggest() is a function that i have defined on page where this jquery plugin in included.
