I'm trying to setup connections to multiple SQL Server DB's using MS SQL Server DB through registration in Central Management Servers cfr. described at http://ift.tt/1yFmWVn I can setup the central management server, but when I try to create the actual registrations, the authentication mode is greyed out/disabled and defaulted to windows authentication mode which makes it impossible to make the connections through sql authentication. One of my servers is not in the domain, so I need SQL authentication. Any ideas why and how to resolve this?
I'm using SQL Server Studio v11 (2012). The purpose is to script the data migration between two different DB instances to be able to rerun them if necessary.
Thank you.
