Reading Windows Event Logs through javascript

I have a bunch of windows event log files and I was wondering if there is anyway I could read the event logs through javascript so that I can perform data visualization on it.

1. User open the .html file


2. User state which folder the event logs are


3. Javascript read the folder and visualize the logs

I looked through some solutions and they all seems to require a server.
