Swift Read/Write Text File

For a database-like project, it's required to read & write text file in swift (iOs Platform). I tried to place the text file to resources and read it, that is the working part. However, when it comes to manipulate things at the same file, i couldn't do it. Some sources say that it's not possible to write back to bundle resource files, if that's true i need a way to read/write to same file.

P.S : the file exists with some data with in it.
